We have a 2-day return policy, which means you have 2 days after receiving your item to request a return. (Reasons for acceptance of the same is mentioned below)
Replacement
After inspecting the returned item /damaged items we shall deliver you the replacement within 7-10 business days.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded and credited on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. (Refund is only applicable if we are unable to replace the damaged item/or if a product is out of stock, no other reasons will be accepted)
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are not accepted once an order is placed for ready stock or pre-orders, unless the product is out of stock.
If a cancellation is exceptionally approved per our sole discretion, a 2% transaction fee plus GST will be deducted per product from the total amount. Plus a flat charge of Rs.500/- towards packaging, handling, and logistics charges.
Please note returns/replacements are only accepted for damaged items (No other reasons accepted) – during transit with a proper parcel opening video without any edits from start to finish. Without a parcel opening video, no claim will be accepted.
In the event of suspected courier theft, tampering, missing items, or parcel robbery, a complete and uninterrupted parcel opening video is mandatory. No exceptions, excuses, or partial videos will be accepted. Claims submitted without a clear unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened from start to finish will be automatically rejected. This requirement is necessary for us to investigate and assist with claims using valid proof.
In case a customer refuses to accept the parcel or attempts to cancel the order through the delivery partner, no refund will be issued. The customer will be held liable for cancellation charges, delivery and return shipping costs (both ways), as well as handling and packing charges. No exceptions will be made.
Pre-Order Policy
At Scentopia Perfume Stories, pre-orders are opened only once we receive confirmation from official distributors that the product is expected to arrive in India.
The dispatch timeline provided for pre-orders is always an approximate timeframe based on the latest updates shared by distributors. Dispatches may happen earlier or later depending on shipping, customs, logistics, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Please understand that we rely solely on official distributor updates and are not personally responsible for delays or situations where products are unable to arrive in India despite prior confirmations.
In the rare event that we receive an official update confirming that a product will not be arriving, we will personally contact customers and provide the following options:

Pre-orders are not urgent orders and cannot be fulfilled within our regular dispatch timelines.
We have absolutely no reason to hold or delay anyone’s order intentionally. As soon as products are received from official distributors, dispatches are started immediately in the order received.
If you are uncomfortable with waiting, kindly avoid placing pre-orders. By placing a pre-order, you agree to the waiting period involved. Please note:

All pre-orders are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable under any circumstances.
Once a pre-order is placed and payment is completed, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded, regardless of changes in customer preference, delays, or any other reason.
